

Mariko Okubo
She was born in Japan. She studied oil painting at the Department of Fine Arts, Akashi High School, Hyogo, Japan. After graduating, she went to study in the US, then she worked as a graphic designer producing English advertising materials for a leading electronics company.
In 2010, she moved to Taiwan, and it was there that she first learned ceramics.
She is a dedicated ceramicist, and fortunate to be selected for several competitions.
Presently, while running her own ceramic studio Green Time in Kyoto, Japan, she regularly exhibits her works at museums, department stores and galleries.
